3rd ELTA REGIONAL CONFERENCE, ELBASAN
FEBRUARY 25 - 26, 2011
I have the pleasure to announce the 3rd Regional Conference in Elbasan titled “Teach English in the classroom of the future” which is going to be held February 25-26, 2011.

5th REGIONAL CONFERENCE
NOVEMBER 4 - 5, 2010
ELTA Albania are delighted to announce that the 5th Regional Conference will take place on November 4 - 5, 2010, in Berat, Albania.
The conference is titled ‘Professionalism Awakens our students’ Sleeping Devil ', and there are expected 150 participants from all over Albania, Kosovo and the region.

ELBASAN TEACHER TRAINING CONFERENCE
A seminar/workshop training is planned for the weekend of 27-28 February in Elbasan. ELTA is pleased to introduce the topic of "Learning Teaching, Teaching Learning." Please contact Ymer Leksi about attending.

NATIONAL YEARLY CONFERENCE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING UPCOMING
ELTA is pleased to inform that planning for the annual Berat conference is underway and is tentatively scheduled for November 6-7, 2009. This conference is open to the English language teaching community and will require reservations and an entrance fee (for accommodation and logistics). 4TH ANNUAL ELTA CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear ELTA members and supporters,
We at ELTA Albania are delighted to announce that next year's conference, the fourth in the highly successful series of ELTA gatherings, will take place May 21 - 23, 2010. The conference will be titled, 'Quali-Training to Empower English Professionals.'
We, ELTA board members, present the tentative speakers to be Claire Spears (British Council Albania), Lisa Harshburger and Leigh Rider (American Embassy), Janis Droegkamp and Hill Denham (Peace Corps Albania), Jay Pfaffman (Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA), Deborah Lee (Professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA), Nancy Ackles and Nancy Limpreht to be our main plenary speakers at our conference.
We have also invited David Newby (EMCL, Austria), Jim Scrivener and Silvana Richardson as special guest speakers to share their teaching experiences with us.
Currently, arrangements are being made for representatives from Macmillan Publishing to be part of our conference as well.
We look forward to seeing you there!
